Job responsibilities would include: producing various pastry items for both Ellie Bird and Rooster and Owl based upon the Executive Pastry Chef’s recipes, standards and expectations.As a pastry cook at Ellie Bird, you should have a thorough understanding of classic/basic cooking and pastry techniques as well as a basic understanding of how to use all the equipment required to produce your mise en place safely. We are looking for someone who has a drive to learn, performs at their best everyday, works well with others, has a sense of urgency, and communicates effectively and respectfully with their co-workers and managers.At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen is preferred, but not required.
